Hello! My name is Jessica. I am so glad you are visiting my site!  Let me tell you what I love most about life.  I am a wife, mom of three kids, a Christian and lover of physical movement... always curious about the possibility of what is next. I am passionate about traveling, creating experiences, and living fully the adventure of life. I am a runner, cyclist, Yogi and I love the outdoors!

My life has been dedicated to fitness.  While attending Wartburg College, in Waverly, IA, I ran cross country and track and obtained my undergraduate degree in fitness.  I received my master’s degree at the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse in exercise physiology, and throughout that time I taught indoor cycling, Pilates, boot camps and total body strength classes, before discovering my passion was in yoga.   My first job was in cardiac rehab as an exercise physiologist.  Once I had my children, I did some adjunct teaching for the exercise science department at a local college and I started a personal training business as a way to support my love of exercise and spend more time at home with our kids.

I  did my first yoga teacher training in 2002 as a graduate student, and with that training, I taught yoga for 13 years. I love learning, so I completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training with Kevin McQuillan and Real Evolution Yoga. This is when the big shift happened for me and my practice evolved into more than just a physical experience.  Now my passion for what I do is focused on bringing movement possibilities, as well as self-awareness and mental clarity, to all ages, during both yoga sessions and personal training.  I'm also thrilled to start teaching personal empowerment and emotional intelligence at a local college and to serve as a health and wellness consultant in my community. This is an exciting adventure for me as I get to share my passion to a bigger and broader audience. Thank you for learning more about me and I can't wait to meet you!

Peace and love. Namaste.
